WVBF and Volley trust South America

Buenos Aires 16/2/08. The 48 hour meetings which gathered in Buenos Aires Jean-Pierre Seppey, WVBF, World Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Federation President, Luis Moreno, WVBF first Vice President, Mario Goijman, WVBF Board Member and ten representatives of ten South America Volleyball Associations.

Decisions for South America
Different Volleyball and Beach Volleyball items were discussed in a friendly atmosphere and the members decided many key options and notably:
- the actual sport activities’ calendar
- the technical instruction’s courses
- the institutional principles to be followed for the creation of new Associations
- Volleyball at school programs and the selection of Beach Volleyball stars.

Division General Idriss Dokony Adiker’s criminal action against Ruben Acosta
Idriss Dokony, WVBF Vice President and Tchad Volleyball Federation’s President, has informed the members that he took last December the criminal court of Lausanne, Switzerland, with his criminal action against Ruben Acosta for the declarations and severe irregularities as usual of the latter.
The member declared to fully support Idriss Dokony, their Vice President, in his criminal action in order to get reparation before the Swiss Justice.

During the press conference, which concluded the 2 day meetings, Jean-Pierre Seppey congratulated the organizer for the working ideal conditions, declared to be impressed by the high professionalism’s level of the participating Volleyball leaders and ensured the WVBF support to Volleyball and Beach Volleyball development in South America in order for them to be successful again.
